How do I set up a sales pipeline without migrating my existing CRM data?
Start with the source that already holds your deal data: Postgres, MongoDB, or a REST API. In Questlane, add that source in the data-source wizard and map the fields your pipeline needs: contact, company, owner, stage, value, status, and dates. Questlane uses the mapping to build the pipeline view from your existing records.
Next, define the sales stages your team actually uses. You can choose names, order, and win probability per stage. Once records appear on the board, the team can drag deals, assign tasks, reply from the shared inbox, and run workflows without re-entering your historical data.
This approach lets teams evaluate a working CRM on live data before committing to a migration. If the data source remains the system of record, Questlane becomes the workspace where sales teams operate on that data.
